What is The Haunted Trail Of Terror?

The Haunted Trail of Terror is an annual Non-Profit, Intense live action horror, Charity Scaremaze experience. That has been bringing scares to West Bromwich since 2021

Is it Scary?

YES!

Our aim is to make you leave your smiles and laughs at the door. And get you heart pumping with fear. With the unknown and jump scares scattered throughout
We put the Scare in SCAREmaze which features live actors that will interact with you but will NOT touch you! 

you will also experience but not limited to;  tight spaces, dark or low lit enviroments, strobing, UV, fog & various smells and special effects

Can i come with children?

Yes. We do recommend tho our visitors be 13yrs+ as our maze is adult horror themed, anyone under 13yrs must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian 

anyone under 18yrs must be accompanied by a suitable adult, over 21yrs with a ratio of 3:1. Please dont be offended if asked for id. Parental discretion is advised for anyone under 16yrs
We do have days for younger children and those that prefer a more calmer experiance. this will not have any jump scares or loud noises, but will feature the actors in their main event costumes, and some props on show may still be adult themed

What if im scared halfway round?

please take note of the SAFEWORD at the start of the maze this is to be used if it gets too much for you 

please do not use the safeword lightly, once you have used the safe word you will be safely removed from the maze and you will not be able to re-enter 

Do you use artificial smoke or flashing lights?

Yes, our event will feature flashing lights, strobes, UV and special effects. We also use different scents & smoke effects in the attraction. If you have any conditions that may be affected by these factors, we strongly advise against visiting.

Do i have to book?

Ideally yes, this would guarantee you entry if the queue closes early. this would be to ensure we finish on time. Although you can pay on the door but there are only limited number of tickets available. We reccomend to arrive early

I have SEN/Young children can i bring them?

yes, for our main event we do recommend from 13yrs plus but all are welcome with parents/guardians discretion.

you know them better then us please use your discretion

We also have child/family friendly days, ideal for younger children and those who want a calmer experiance, these will be scare free days without the jump scares and loud noises 

Is there wheelchair or pushchair access?

wheel chairs and pushchairs can enter the venue 

pushchairs will not be allowed within the maze 

wheel chairs will only have access to limited parts of the maze

Is parking available?

Yes, A car park is available.

parking fees apply 

free parking after 6pm

Are there toilet facilities on site?

Yes, toilets are available 

Do you have and food or drink available to buy?

Yes, there is a tea room / cafe on site, also some sweet treats from our market stalls 

How Long will getting round the maze last?

The length can vary from visitor to visitor. Some groups are scared they rush straight through whilst others are so scared they freeze in fear. The average time could last 8-15mins

What dates & times are you open and prices?

we are open for our childs event 

3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th, October 1-5pm

24th, 30th, 31st October 12-4

 

main event 

23rd 24th, 30th, 31st October  5-9pm

Can i take pictures or film?

Outside the maze yes, once you enter the maze area pictures and video are not permitted if you are caught doing so you may be removed without refund.
